Gateway Desk Top Computer Speakers

The B&H shopping experience was top notch as usual. I had done a ton of research before deciding upon Audioengine A2+ speakers. The research seems to have paid off. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome the speakers sound right out of the box. Some of the reviews I had read indicated a subwoofer is required to really bring out the speakers. I decided to listen to them for a few days without a subwoofer before adding one to judge for myself. While I found the bass a little flat, I felt that as computer desk speakers, they sounded great. I later added an 8 subwoofer and Holy Cow did that ever make a difference! Now the speakers sparkle accompanied by deep rich bass. I love listening to music at my desk and the Audioengine A2+ speakers (with subwoofer) makes that experience way more pleasurable. I highly recommend the speakers.

The HD3 speakers and subwoofer deliver all that I hoped for. Three different set-up connections are possible. Of these, the USB audio connection works best for me. I placed all three speakers on top of my u-shaped desk configuration. I recommend placing the subwoofer on your desk and not on the floor--it's just a 6 subwoofer and it performs best up on top and not below your desk. Good system!

Works very well as advertised. Use full. Fixed my desk top speakers problem. Coupled with adv. Accessport Lite USB-C (2nd gen) Dac amplifier. Now I can use them with any USB port.

I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed! I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office. The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.) But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up. LOVE them!

I tried a few options to replace a very old broken pair of small Roland desk speakers used with my computer. These have a higher price but they sound great!

Very good speakers for my desk and computer, with their own built in power supply for big sound simply by plugging one wire (or wireless) to the computer or device. Look great and sound great. They are the larger of the Kanto speakers but I bet you'd get good sound out of the YU4 as well.

I bought this for a computer / standing desk that needed a smaller surge strip on top (I'm still using a basic Furman for that) but wanted more power protection before it. This unit is remarkably robust and I suspect it will be solid.

Clean, solid installation, allows me to clear the top of the desk while keeping easy access to the Power button as well as the various ports and allows to hide the wiring, Easy to install under the top of the desk near the front or on a wall. A computer that is very resistant to heat and dust. State-of-the-art components cpu, ram memory, ssd etc. This computer will serve me for several years before being obsolete. Very happy with the price paid. Propre, installation solide,me permet de dégager le dessus du bureau tout en gardant un acces facile au bouton Power ainsi qu'aux différents ports et permet de cacher le cablâge, Facile à installer sous le dessus du bureau prêt de l'avant ou sur un mur. Un ordinateur très endurant à la chaleur et la poussière. Composantes à la fine pointe de la technologique cpu, mémoire ram,ssd etc. Cet ordinateur me servira plusieurs années avant d'être désuet. Très content du prix payé.

This hub allowed me to connect my peripherals to my desk top without having to attach the USB cables from them to the computer each time I want to use those components.
