[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One For All really thought of everything when they made this universal Streamer remote. I lost the original remote for my Roku TV a while ago, but this remote is such an upgrade that I can’t say I miss my old one. It is compatible with lots of devices, and you’re not limited to controlling just one device. The light ring indicates what device the remote is set to control which is handy, but the light also just looks really cool. There’s even programmable buttons so you can go right to whatever your favorite streaming service is. It has a lot of capabilities, but it also is just good for performing your basic functions, so you really can’t go wrong.

This is my forth shield. I do like this new design and the new remote over previous versions. It now has a power button which saves steps when turning everything off. I have replace all my old android boxes and firesticks. I rate the device based on how it was designed and how it performs, not by what I wish it had. Based on this, I believe this is the best device on the market and an essential when cord cutting. . Only one complaint is the Netflix button on the remote. I downloaded third party software to disable it as I was accidently hitting it. Bottom line, don't waste your time and energy on less expensive devices. You will replace them down the road. Once you try a shield, you will want one for every TV

If you can push a button, you can operate this remote shutter device. I needed a remote shutter control for night photography. Most of the sensors for wireless remotes are in front of the camera. I wanted to be positioned behind my camera. This remote puts me in control of my shutter speed in bulb mode. Love it!

I recently got into light painting and it was hard to get the results I wanted at first. I would have to set the exposure time, hit the shutter button on the camera, run into place, turn on the light, paint, and then run back to try again after it finished taking the picture. I would repeat the process, which is very exhausting after multiple takes. With this device, I can place the camera on BULB, stand where I need to, press the button on the remote and hold it until I'm finished painting. It works great! Just be sure to know how to unlock after you've held it down for more than 3 seconds. I supposed the lock function is what does that. I haven't explored the settings enough to know. The device is actually kind of heavy for a remote of its size, but it's a comfortable weight. It's pretty well made as far as I can tell, but I've only used it a few times. Some people complained about the quality and a few other issues, but so far so good for me. I will try self portraits next and will see if I can use a flash with the mounted device.

I bought the new Roku device because the previous one I had is now obsolete. The new one has an easier to use remote control. It also has a volume control, and a button to access the Netflix channel.
