Ge Air Conditioner Wall Unit Has No Power

My wall fluctuates between 126-128V. I have a power conditioner downstream of this voltage regulator to monitor if the power is being optimized and brought closer to 120V. This unit does exactly that! I now have piece of mind that my gear will be safely powered in my home studio. I bought one for my live rig as well since you never know how good the power is at a venue.

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. The Isobar offers a high level of protection and, unlike most other surge suppressors, will isolate each outlet from surges caused by other appliances plugged into it. Case in point, I needed to use an air conditioner on the same outlet as a computer. The Isobar effectively protects the computer from power surges as the air conditioner cycles on and off.

This low cost Outlet and Power Conditioner with analog Ammeter and Voltmeter from ART is a great value in my opinion. The unit is constructed from metal and has a quality look and feel. The pull-out lights are a great convenience and provide plenty of illumination for my audio cabinet. The ammeter and voltmeter are always illuminated while the unit is on and provide dim but noticeable lighting in a dark room.

This is my second M-8x2 Power Conditioner. I was having issues with some laser equipment that was extremely difficult to troubleshoot. In the end, my machine went down unexplicably and had to be returned for service. While the unit was out, it dawned on me that perhaps the issue - or at least part of the issue - was due to inconsistent power and possible spikes. I ordered the first M-8x2 while my machine was being repaired and have had the unit plugged into it ever since. I have had no repeat issues since protecting my gear with the Furman M-8x2. Since I have recently added additional equipment, it was a no-brainer to ensure that I have appropriate protection in place from the start. Furman makes a great power conditioner for the price!

Kept forgetting to turn workbench lights off. Saw this power strip and decided to try and incorporate them with my existing overhead GE smart wall switch. The transaction with B & H couldn't have been any easier and the item arrived in no time! Since the garage overhead light is controlled by a GE smart wall switch, this was a no brainer. Just added the Kasa Smart Power Strip to my Kasa app, then into our Habitat system. Now when ever I operate the wall switch, it controls both the overhead & workbench lights!
