Great, solidly built, basic slate. Erases easily

You can use them as a third hand. You never have enough clamps ge tthe bundle its worth it.

Durably built product. Great Price. You are able to securely hold it via slots in the back. The clapper arm snaps into place after use. The fulcrum joint is firmly built ensuring no front to back movement. The labeled slate sections are printed on the backside of the writing surface so as not to rub off or fade. I specifically bought the Cavision Next-Gen Production Slate with Color Clapper Sticks (European Style, Color) for the scene, shot, and take sections. The black and white Cavision has the same sections. I could not find another slate that has those. Since I am my own judge, jury, and executioner, the shot section just seems to help me out with my shot list organizing. Highly recommend.
