The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one. While the tripod specs a load capacity of 15.4 lb and multiples of the actual payload are recommended, my 11 lb setup is rock-solid in the shortest position. It's well made and intuitive BUT I'd love to marked gradations for extending the tripod legs evenly. 5 |

While I have only used the stand a few times it seems quite sturdy and compact. It has substantially lightened my load on shoots. The air cushion which is usually a pain ... when closing stands closes with out much delay. 5 |
