Works well and much more than a surge protector. I used this to replace my old power strip. It works great adding 8 outlets to my stereo that can be turned on and off from the front of my equipment. The two LED post light let me see my equipment faces so I can make adjustments without turning on the room light.

The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets.
