Ge Pro Surge Protector 10 2 3540 Joules

Wanted a different Belkin Surge Protector with 1,080 joules protection, but becuse of the older design of my house, it wouldn't fit. this one does the same thing, with the same protection from power surges and lightning strike and the like. Protection and peace of mind for expensive electronic equipment.

Was looking for a relatively small profile surge protector with over 2000 joules of protection. Tripp Lite fit the bill. Good quality and I like having the LED indicators to know I'm protected and properly grounded.

It's hard to review a surge protector without having it go through a surge in a thunderstorm or power outage. However, this APC protector had more joules than a very expensive one that I purchased for my entertainment system 7 years ago and doesn't buzz like the Monster surge protector did, which is why I replaced it. Seems like a goodpurchase. Pleanty of room for many plugs.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.

APC makes the best surge protectors on the market and the model P8T3 is no exception. It comes with a lifetime product warranty AND a $150,000 protected equipment warranty and the surge protection is rated at 2770 Joules, not 1750 Joules as stated in Amazon's product description. The big advantage is that it has four wide spaced outlets which easily accomodates those bulky power adapters. In addition the power cord swilvels 180 degrees to make it convenient for placement. A very convenient feature is that the front panel has two LED indicators. The first one lights up green to let you know that protection is working. The second one lights up red if there is a building wiring fault. The first time that I plugged in the surge protector, the building wiring fault LED lighted up red so I knew that I had plugged it in to an incorectly wired outlet. I plugged it in to a different outlet and the red LED didn't light up so I knew that I had plugged it in to a correctly wired outlet. If you are looking for superior quality at a low cost then this is the perfect choice.

Replaced my 10+ years old battery inside my surge protector and power backup APC unit. It works great. Primarily helps keep my internet modem running during power outages. Just needed a fresh battery in it and I'm sure it'll keep running another 10 years. Reliable product that does its job. And I don't even have to think about it. Great product!

After purchasing a new sound bar and Blu-Ray player, my 20+ year old 8-outlet APC surge protector was no longer sufficient for all the devices I have sitting on my TV/audio stand. I found this 10-outlet strip and, based on previous experience and the price, decided this would be a suitable replacement. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Two of the 10 devices that I plug in are USB devices that previously were plugged into AC adapters. With this strip, I can plug those directly into the 2 USB outlets on the strip, giving me two extra AC outlets for future use. Because it is behind my TV stand, the somewhat prominent safe light is not an issue. Having said that, the prominent safe light is nice because it lets you know that the power strip is doing its job. The covers for the unused outlets are also a very nice feature. Very little not to like about this surge protector. Highly recommended.
