This is a very high quality product that met all my expectations. I cannot speak for specific uses, as mine is for general use (not birding or any specific). Lanyards were at first confusing to apply, but the instructions are right if followed. Optics are top notch. I do wish there were a cap supplied for the end of the monocular, unfortunately there is only a cap provided for the viewing end. However, stored in its case, it will absolutely be protected. Light weight, top notch as with all Leica products.

Bought this after trying a GE which would not connect. No problem with the Kasa, it worked right away.
