I developed my first four large format (5x7) sheets in this and it works great. Easy to load in a darkbag, though I suspect 8x10 might benefit from the space of a tent or actual darkroom. It fits together nicely, and the plastic quality is top notch, very sturdy. The lid lacks any sort of locking mechanism but I haven't felt like this is an issue - it fits nicely on top of the tray, and it doesn't feel loose while doing agitations. The lip at the end is actually perfect for pouring chems, and I don't need to use a funnel like I do with a Paterson tank. It says you only need 500mL of chems and I believe it - in fact I suspect you could get by with less with very careful agitation or stand dev. I usually round up my measurements a bit, and I suspect the tank could hold close to a liter of chems, though again, you might need to be careful with your agitation. I'm looking forward to trying stand dev when I pick some Rodinal up later this week. I have very high hopes for the results! 5 |

Sharp and low grain. What grain there is depends on developer and agitation and it is a pleasing grain. 5 |
