You can use them as a third hand. You never have enough clamps ge tthe bundle its worth it.

Lost the remote control somewhere in my house. Started shopping for a new one when when I notced my model had a remote finder. Followed the instructions and heard a very faint beeping. Delighted this function really works .

I some times have a hard time seeing peoples faces or eyes in my view finder, so by using a remote control switch helps. I can focus and then look above my camera at my subject and click away.
