Bought it to replace my ageing LG BluRay, havent used it buy once on a DVD but seems do work well, hope to burn a BluRay later, seems to be a good unit

I actually bought this hoping my LG DVD player would fit inside it, but no luck you guys havent made a wallet for the portable DVD devices yet. I guess I will use it to carry DVDs in.

Bought the WH16NS40 specifically to use for the M-Disk, although it works great on conventional optical disks as well. I've used this LG unit to burn CD's and DVD's. Haven't burned a Blu-ray yet, but it reads them just fine. Burned about 20 M-Disk DVD's and all worked just fine in four other readers that I have. I updated the firmware in the LG burner to the latest version listed on the M-Disk web site. Overall this seems like a great value, especially if it holds up for a while. It's very quiet, I have to look at the green LED to see if it's running.
