Ge Universal Remote Won T Change Channels

Given as gift , like very much, however wish I could use TV remote to change channels, i.e. click channel number instead of running thru channels

I like that we just need the one remote for turning it on, changing channels, and vikings.

he quantum fw8r is universal. it can be used with any flash thats one of the great things about. you can use it with quantum flashes and with other brands too. and another great thing is that it has 7 channels so i doubt ill have any problems with other photographers when taking photographs at the same place! i don't have any complains about the quantum fw8r. great product

Love it, 5 zones, don't need a computer to change channels now if they would just make receiver for Einsteins.

Put it on my portrait gear and it performed flawlessly. I do like it's range and to be able to change channels very easy.

Had to change batteries many times due to videos and picture taking at Universal Studios and Disney World.

You can use them as a third hand. You never have enough clamps ge tthe bundle its worth it.

This is a distinct upgrade from the X1-O trigger. The big display is a welcome change as well as the easy switching between channels. The TTL/Manual conversion can be really handy when you are time-challenged.

I semi-professionally do video for bands and events around my area (filming/recording close to 100 bands a year). My favorite piece of equipment has to be my Zoom H6 which I am able to run up to 6 channels to and get a solid audio recording. I have next to zero background in audio recording, and the H6 made it easy enough that an idiot (me) can do it. This is fantastic and all, but if you have phantom power going to that many channels you can expect to have to change the batteries every hour and a half roughly. This just wasn't working for me since occasionally I would have to change batteries up to three times on a night of shooting which costs about $10. Grabbed this and now I can just keep my Zoom H6 plugged in and almost cut out the battery expense 100% which helps my bottom line. If you have ever worked with up and coming musicians, you know that getting paid is difficult enough. Cut out $10 a shoot of expenses and it just helps me stay profitable.
