Geminos Monitor Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new Geminos setup for a week. I absolutely love the setup. There is so much additional space on my desk after switching from two side by side monitors.

I got my Geminos™ X screens over the weekend and had some issues with the driver install and touchscreen calibration, which turned out to be my (Lenovo) laptop issue. I was helped with the correct procedures and steps by a very helpful Mattias from Customer Care Center. I am absolutely pleased with this product and how it has increased my productivity by a mile! Love it!

Other notable features of the monitor are Low blue light mode, Anti-glare, good Contrast ratio (1000:1) and refresh rate of 5ms (milliseconds). Monitor supports multiple ports like HDMI, USB, Display Port etc. Monitor box/package contains multiple cables including DisplayPort 1.2 cable, HDMI cable, USB cable and AC power cable. Monitor is easy to install and can be used horizontally as well as vertically. Its design is sleek and stylish. Overall it is a great package.

This single monitor changed my workspace and I can work two screens in one monitor that too in HDR with DCI-P3 98% color spectrum. The Monitor also can be used as Single display using the software provided by LG. The USB-C option simplified my work desk. Just one cable that charges my Laptop and display content beautifully. The ambient light sensor works flawlessly and The Monitor detects and adjust the brightness as needed. As always LG packaged the monitor very carefully and beautifully. Enjoying my home office setup.

as a reply to Juan`s review: 1. It can be also the monitor`s fault - this problem could be easily fixed by adding washers on main mounting screw 2. Version of Monitor Holder without NATO rail is for user who plan to use this holder with accessories which have built-in Safety NATO Rail  3. It is possible to use the Monitor Holder with top handle at the same time - but it should be Monitor Holder with cold shoe mount

I use it mainly for work and to watch YouTube and the monitor works like a charm. No issues till now. The monitor came nicely packaged with the essential cables to connect this beast of a monitor to my high end Rig. After setting up the monitor and turning it on for the first time, I had to step back as my smile grew as wide as the monitor figuratively speaking. I couldn’t wait but fired up a game of GTA and was amazed how much more I can see within the game. The 240 Hz just made it so buttery smooth playing on this 49inch UltraGear Monitor. As nice as the monitor is for gaming, I also love how much screen real estate I have now. I can multitask like never before with Adobe Photoshop, browsing the internet, Word and so much more. On my old monitor I would have to move apps around in order to adjust for productivity. Now that’s in the past thanks to this extremely Ultra-Wide monitor. I am glad I made this purchase to help utilize it best for multitasking, recreational and so much more.
