I purchased this charger for my laptop because the 45W unit that came with the device was not keeping up with charging the battery and running the laptop. Also the connection did not seem to alway work. Prior to purchasing this unit I purchased a 3rd party 45W replacement but is was not keeping up with the power requirement to charge the battery and run the laptop, plus it took too long to just charge the battery. This unit does a great job of keeping up with the power requirements. I also like the longer length of the cord to reach a power source. 5 |

I wanted a genuine Canon branded replacement charger and that's what I got. It is identical to the one that came with my camera, even down to the color (gray) which the package incorrectly depicts as white. The performance is the same and I am so glad B&H had this thing in stock to replace the one my 1 year old kid (we suspect) put in the trash for fun. Keep these things away from toddlers if you want it to last. :-) 5 |
