George Lopez Stand Up Television Show

I was in the middle of the desert working on a television show. I only had a 18-135mm on me. I did not think I was going to have much time to take photos but when I saw the stars out there I new I needed something wide. I ordered from B&H and over night shipped the 14mm. All I can say is WOW! This lens is great! I wish it was faster than a 2.8 but I created some great time lapse footage and took some great pictures. I am going to take this 14mm with me from now on. Only con is the ring with the lens numbering is made of plastic. It was scratched within the second day.

I wear these to the gym and the noise cancelling is complete. It is like watching a television show with the volume off and only the music I am playing coming through.

Purchased this for our on-set backups to give to our DIT/Loader on a network television show. The Thunderbolt 2 is perfect as it works with most Macs and saves time over USB drives for making backups at wrap.

It's simple, and will prevent me from having a George Costanza wallet ever again. That is worth at least 5 stars.

It does just what I wanted and need. I wander around places: the woods on Lopez island, the streets of Paris, the shores of lake Washington (for example) and I want one lens that lets me gets panoramas or cormorants sitting on the pilings in the police mooring at Pont Austerlich, or the parrots up in the denuded Novemebr chestnut trees in Parc Monsourris. The tightness of the zoom ring is a great design advantage: I had the predecessor lens on a predecessor emount ant when I carried the camera lens down it always slid down to max zoom. That was pain. This lens is tight and doesn't do that. If you use the low digital zoom setting with the max optical zoom in good light conditions you are likely to get some amazing results.

I'm a television and film professional and I purchase Matthews products every chance I get. This stand will not disappoint.
