Get Dell Model Number

This new set looks better than the ones I have been using for several years. I like having 4 numbers better than the 3 number model that you can buy anywhere.

Was running on 4 GB of RAM on a Dell Latitude and the 16 GB of Crucial RAM made a difference in the number of apps I could run simultaneously and the number of chrome tabs I could have open. Been running on the new 16 GB for a week now and no issues.

I use a number of external drives, so I needed more than the 4 USB 3.0 ports on my Dell Precision workstation. This card arrived quickly, installed easily and I'm very happy with the speed.

I had a different brand that would not work at all on my MacBook. I tried that one on a PC and it did OK. This one works on both my MacBook and on a late model Dell PC and other PCs that I have tried. I am not using the audio connection, but bought it for the potential High Res VGA output.

After nearly 9 months of research, and narrowing my choice down to the Lenovo P72, Dell 7730 and ZBook 17 G5, I went with the ZBook.  Based on my internet research, Lenovo and Dell both had more system issues, including Thunderbolt issues and throttling under heavy load.   This configuration of the ZBook (i7 8850, Quadro P3200 graphics processor and 16G ram) hit the sweet spot for price/performance, especially at the $2749 price B&H was asking ($500 discount).   You can spec the system with a faster processor and faster graphics card, but ALL of the systems from the big 3 (Dell, Lenovo and HP) will throttle under heavy load if you spec higher than a 8850 and P3200.  Why pay for extra processing power that will get throttled at heavy load? One of the primary reasons I went with this system was the combination of DreamColor display and integrated display calibration system.  B&H doesnt list this particular model (MFR # 4RB09UT#ABA) as coming with the dreamcolor display, but it does!  I definitely wanted the Dreamcolor display for photo editing, so verified with both B&H customer service and HP customer support that this particular model was the DreamColor model before ordering.  The display is definitely worth the extra cost if you will be using the system for photo editing or color-critical graphics work.   My display had minor light bleed issues in the lower left corner, but I decided that was insignificant and wouldnt affect my photo editing work.  Im very glad I kept the system.  Its a tremendous upgrade over my several years old Dell Precision workstation. The easy upgrade back panel makes it super easy to upgrade ram and SSDs.   No system is perfect, but Im convinced this system comes closest to perfection out of the options available on the market today.

Just replace 2 expensive Dell monitors with this model. The picture quality and clarity was exceptional and for the price we received it, it was a no brainer

I really love using the Dell P2418HT for live production but it's not always easy to get a hold of. I purchased this Planar model and it's proven to be a great alternative! The included stand does have really similar range of motion/angles and allows this monitor to work great as an upward facing control surface. The stand isn't quite as nice or fluid as the Dell model but so far I don't have any complaints. Overall I'd definitely recommend this as a solid solution for live production purposes.

All I had to do was plug it in a usb port and my Dell Desktop computer model 6VPLBHK was working with Bluetooth again. You see I was experimenting with the Bluetooth settings and somehow lost my Bluetooth when I had either changed some settings or updated Windows 10. Bluetooth is now on my desktop and it works. Found Photoshop 2022 too slow on Dell XPS 15 model (9560) with only 16Gb RAM. Upgraded to 32Gb (2x16Gb). Received in 2 days. Simple to install. Works great. Thanks BH.
