Get Text Messages On Computer While Gaming

Very happy with my Instinct.....except it has stopped receiving incoming text messages/phone calls. I have spent hours trying to get these notifications back, watched videos and I need some help!

I had a Garmin InReach Explorer SE that was great, but I wanted to go with the InReach Mini 2 to cut some weight and space in my pack. It has been great to contact my wife every night on the trail when I am beyond cell phone range and switch to the Mini 2 for text messages. A lot of great features besides the text messages too.

I use this mini tripod for my iPhone in my desk. It is extrenely useful for straightup reading the text messages and for facetime.

Very glad I bought it my car doesn’t read text messages or notifications but my Garmin does along with easy to use.

What a cool little stand. I plan on using it mostly by my computer for my phone, to see messages come in and for Facetime (or Zoom). I love that it works by magnet so it is easy to take on and off of the stand. I just put the magnetic plate under my phone case, so it is always there and ready to use, but doesn't get in the way. The fact that it can be used with a tripod is a great bonus. I attached it to a 501 quick release plate and my tripod, but it supposedly works directly with an Arca-type plate. That's super convenient. Overall I think this is going to be a nice addition near my computer to store my phone, to check as messages or texts come in and no longer need to reach in my pocket. For gaming it's a fantastic monitor. The specs speak well on themselves. Though I would say the text legibility is awful and took awhile to make barrable.
