Does everything well. Get it with the eggcrate. The only downside is no built in WiFi and app control. The aputure mc does that at basically the same price point. This light is brighter than the mc. They’re both great for the money.

This thing is a dream. Easy install. Easy setup. Even an app? Get out of here. Plus this thing looks sleek. 2400 square foot house and 20 separate devices work flawlessly. If you’re on the fence about buying this, pull the trigger. You won’t be disappointed.

There are two different apps that control this light. Get the app that controls the RBG brightness and you’ll be better off. The only downside is if you have two of these it’s hard to separate the Bluetooth, sometimes they sync up. To avoid this, use both apps to pair each light or use two different phones

We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!)

The Ecobee 3 is very easy to use with an app to control it remotely. The weather forecast screen can be customized for your home location & checked as you’re heading out the door. No more getting caught without an umbrella!
