I was having a lot of problem with a low quality adapter. Through troubleshooting I realize the problem was the adapter and I received a recommendation to get the Keyspan USA19HS. As soon that I connected it the problem of transmitting data for a software upgrade went away immediately. Great product and easy to use with Windows 7. I recommended!

I HAVE PURCHASED MANY PRODUCTS FROM B&H THROUGH THE YEARS. THEY ARE CONSITANTLY GREAT TO WORK WITH. THE PEOPLE IN THE ORDER DEPARTMENT ALWAYS KNOW WHAT MY ISSUES ARE AND POINT ME IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION WITH MY ORDERS. THEY HAVE MORE THAN EARNED MY TRUST. THEY ARE ALWAYS THE SAME, DEPEND ON IT.

I was using a Google TP-Link Hub, which worked great for about 6 years. But, my home internet speed from the ISP had increased a lot so I was wondering if newer technology would help my speed. It did, which is not surprising going from one router to a mesh network. My results were: Before. / After Mps, download only. 200 / 220. 1 foot away 100 / 190. Through basement floor ~ 30 feet. 9 / 160. Through basement floor, and a wall or two. ~ 50 feet. The ease of setup was good. I messed up the first time and it was easy to redo it. (Error was my fault. There is no such thing as idiot proof.) The stability is good as best I can tell. My ISP is down for a little bit a few times a week. I can't tell that this is better or worse in that regard.

Works perfectly. Designed to work with Rode VideoMic. I had static problems with the adapter I bought elsewhere and had to return that back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDSuXR3_E2U Gave it five stars simply because it is essentially just like the one I bought 14 years ago. But after 14 years of regular and reliable usage, it met with an unfortunate accident through no fault of its own. So I was very glad to be able to replace it. It's a simple, no-frills powered microphone - which is exactly why I like it. Tiny and unobtrusive enough to attach to my violin, cello and woodwind instruments...and the sound seems entirely true to the musician using it (me). By the way and with respect to references that state that this mic does not replicate sound correctly: One thing I noticed when using it with its 1/4 adapter (that was included, never hurts to have spares) is that the adapter-plug itself needs to be rather forcibly attached to the mic's 1/8 plug. But if the adapter-plug is only partially snapped on, it will definitely cause unpleasant static. Thus one needs to make a point of forcefully snapping the adapter all the way on. But that extra-tight fit is perfect in terms of ensuring a solid, static-free contact. Hoping to get another 14 years out of this one. Swing on! Getting this to work on the PC was a bit of challenge since the adapter is USB C. It comes with an USB C to USB A adapter cable but it's far too short. The instructions also recommended against plugging into the front of the PC though that did work for me. The headphones themselves sound great though you have to work for it.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.
