I'm using this to monitor audio running from my H4n to a hacked GH2. I record on both the camera and recorder for redundancy. I tend to use the audio straight into the camera and use the H4n file as the backup. The quality sounds great!. I thought the monitor volume might be an issue but seems strong enough and has not been a problem as of now. If you want to save yourself some time syncing later then do yourself a favor and pick up this cable!

Purchased Panasonic Lumix GH2 from B%H. Sound was the question with clarity. I owned Sennheiser ENG Wireless Mics. But the miniplug to the camera was the problem. So a friend(sound engineer from Germany who is working with us advised me to look for a SC25 3.5mm to 2.5mm Stereo Output Cable rather than trying to buy a expensive separate microphone for the camera. So I bought and works fine. So I am happy in the end. Thanks to my friend and B&H for helping to have the accessory part.

Using this on a GH2. I do not use a Zoom but the mics I use for this camera are hot. One being my wireless Lav with a Countryman EMW and the other a Sennheiser MKE 400. Even with the new firmware and everything set to the lowest levels on the GH2 and mic, it would record 6db or over. With this cable you can also use the headphone monitor input for a mic and now I have plenty of play on the audio levels. So you can use the cable with a Zoom or mic.

Bought this lens to throw on an old Lumix GH2 that I wasn't using anymore so that I could have a run-and-gun camera to carry regularly. I'm am having so much fun with it. The focus and zoom rings operate very smoothly. It feels high quality. Sharp image. Glad I purchased. I would highly recommend buying the LC-37C Auto Open Lens Cap with it.

I am using this for video production with a GH2, cage, 7 lcd monitor and other accessories. It is nice and sturdy, very solidly made, the bowl and bubble level are very nice in aiding quick leveling, and if you have the Giottos quick release plates, they are interchangeable with the quick release on the tripod. There are two things which are not so great: 1- if you are not using a cage for your camera(especially a GH2), it is very hard to mount the camera as the tightening lever for the quick release hits the body, so make sure you use a cage 2- The horizontal panning is nice and smooth, but the vertical panning is not as much.

This lens is tiny but looks right on the GH2. OIS was the reason for getting this lens because I do use the camera more for video than stills. And it doesn't disappoint. Auto focus is very fast, however manual focus is all over the place depending on how quickly you turn the focus ring. Great for close-up photography. Produces sharp photos and video. Other reason for review was tired of looking at the freaky doll sample photo.

As GH2 owners are aware- the camera uses the dinky little 2.5mm plug for the microphone. Before I got this cable I had to use all kinds of adapters. This is perfect- it's coiled so it takes less space, and it uses right angle plugs. The gold plating is gravy. The cool thing is it doesn't just work for the Beachtek adapter- it also works for any audio recorder that uses a standard 3.5mm plug where you can send a mic out back to the camera. If you're sending a line out you will need an attenuator like the Sescom. Great cable and good price.
