I bought the GX85 hoping to get an even better image stabilization than my GH4. That's exactly what happened. Now it's my number one video camera. Perfect! I'm left-eyed too. The problem of accidentally focusing with a touch of your nose, mentioned by some customers, is easy to solve: Go to Menu/Custom/Touch Settings/Touch Pad AF/Off. You don't have to switch off the whole Touch Screen. 5 |

Lens is very sharp! Lacking the IS I am relying on my camera for stabilization which does ok. Camera is usually on a tripod anyway, so not a big deal for me as it’s mostly for landscape photography. At this price point I’d say it’s impossible to beat it for what you get. I was a little bummed with the “expedited shipping”. Received the lens in a week as it took 3 days to process and then sat at the delivery service’s warehouse for 2 additional days and THEN is the 2 day shipping. Just so you’re aware. 5 |
