Gibson Guitars Epiphone Special Model

I have to say that this is a sweet little guitar. It plays way above its price class and comes beautifully set up. I have more expensive Gibson and Fender guitars and this plays just as nice as they do. It doesn't have the premium feel of those guitars but it still feels right in a very basic way. It's light, handy and has a fast neck. This would be a great choice for a beginner, a guitar that is setup properly from the start. I've been playing for more than 50 years and find this little gem to be an awesome guitar that just happens to be cheap. Great instrument to mod but you can play it right out of the box.

It's the same TKL model #, size and look as what came with my Gibson es-335 Studio 2016 Memphis. Fits my new Epiphone es-335 perfectly.

I bought this last week to accompany the L1 Model 2 and the B2 Bass Bin and couldn't be happier with it. Simply being able to run guitars direct in with no pre-amps is fantastic; a guitar and a pedal will run straight into this thing and sound fantastic. Not to mention the tone matching for the various types of guitars and mic profiles. Independent fx's across each channel, what more could you ask for. Wouldn't hesitate to snatch this off the shelf if you pondering it.

These mics did not astound me. They did not turn my $250 Epiphone acoustic into a $2500 Gibson J45. I did not sound like Frank Sinatra. They did not improve my gas mileage. BUT; they sounded awesome. These are not the Ferrari or Mercedes of the mic world; these are WORKHORSES. They sound rich, thick, syrupy and smooth while sounding clear and articulate. They ROCK on guitar cabs and sound fantastic in blumlein for singer/songwriter in-the-room sound. If you want a $4000 mic that gets used once in a while, this ain't it. If you want a great value on a pair of mics that you'll use on every single session, these babies are it!

I use this for special effects when shooting clouds and/or moving water. I sometimes stack the 6-stop model with it for super long exposures, even in bright light. There is no color cast like there is in cheaper filters and the effect is very close to the 10-stop specification.

My salesperson was extremely helpful. Even though the model I wanted was out of stock, he offered me a special deal that would be guaranteed whenever the laptop was available again.

I have had one of these for a few years and bought another to have a second one when this came up on a special. After two to three years of using this exact model, I am very pleased. The ability to charge batteries individually instead of in pairs like so many chargers makes this a great option. Also, the ability to choose between charging modes is useful along with quick reference power levels. I highly recommend this charger for anyone who has a lot of gear that uses AA and AAA batteries.
