I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!)

My new iPad air 2 hangs around the kitchen mostly (we have a great bay window there) and I use it for cooking as well as when my granddaughter comes to play with it. The base is very secure, even on a glass tabletop, and I can make the pad face completely towards the ceiling for cooking, but also adjust it for other uses. Adjustments are seemingly infinite and secure. I do not imagine I would have to repurchase it, it is very sturdy. Although the backstrap for holding up the iPad during presentations seems a but unnecessary for my purposes, I can se where it would be useful.

I've had this unit for a few months now and I am very happy with the unit overall. The device captures various screen sizes and is perfect for capturing VGA and DVI sources from older computers that do not support the installation of a modern screen recording software. Perfect for creating video tutorials using older computer hardware. There was one issue many users have encountered when using the StreamCatcher software, and that being unable to move the GUI window from one monitor to another when using multiple monitors on a PC. This is actually possible to do, however it requires you to double click on the capture window to cycle through (x3) different GUI window sizes; Full Screen, Normal and Small. You can only move the StreamCatcher GUI window across to other Monitors when the GUI is in the SMALL window size. So you simply have to double click on the GUI capture window when you see your video feed, double click a couple of times...and you can toggle to the proper screen size and then move it across to your other shared PC monitors. :) Hope this information helps future users out there. I have had fun with this unit. It adheres well to glass and other smooth surfaces. I tend to use it in a vehicle but have also made use of store and house windows when I wanted a steady mount but didnt want to tie up floor space with a tripod. If you do this on a store window be considerate and have some alcohol swabs handy so you can clean their window when done. I should mention I use this with an Osmo Pocket and you can get any number of adapters for it to utilize a Go Pro Mount like this.

I live in Texas where the power goes out regularly. I needed something to run my window unit, rolling air conditioner, refrigerator and fans this summer wholes it’s been 110 degrees. The Eco Flow Delta Pro does it all and more. I feel confident in my home now. Thank you Eco Flow.
