Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Review

Works fine with Windows and Mac. This adapter can basically max out a gigabit Ethernet connection. I have it connected to a USB port on the back of my monitor so that a single cable gets me not only power and video, but also a better internet connection.

I have been using this on my Android phone and my laptop, both devices have a USB-C port and my Belkin adapter worked great on both devices. It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. The adapter was immediately recognized by both devices and there was no need to install any software to make the adapter work. The adapter is also small and portable enough to carry with you anywhere you go. I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone looking for an ethernet + charging adapter.

The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W has been a huge game changer when it comes to my Teams meetings/video calls. In the past, I was missing out on critical information because of the internet lag, and calls were being dropping due to my internet's speed. With the Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W plug-and-play adapter, I no longer have a lag or have to worry with those calls dropping off. The adapter keeps my computer charged and my connection completely sound while I'm hardwired. So far, I'm pleased that the adapter hasn't overheated and has stayed cool to touch. The adapter is both small and portable, and works with most USB-C compatible devices. Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

Cox just upped my speed ... needed an approved modem with a gigabit ethernet port, more channels and RAM. Works great with my Netgear WNDR3700 router. Expect it to go a few years!

I got this for a PC that had no free slots for a 10 gigabit Ethernet card. It installed automatically on Windows 10 and has been perfectly reliable for the first couple weeks. Very solid performance at 5 gigabit.

The Trendnet gigabit ethernet switch was easy to install. And all of the devices now connected to it are running at their optimal levels. I like the solid feel of this switch in its metal box. A good change from all of these plastic switches. It is nice to see the green lights by those devices that are receiving their full gigabit speed and those devices that are unable to operate at that speed show up as a yellow light. I am very satisfied with the performance of this product and was even more satisfied with the price. It is nice that one can still get a quality product for a great price ($).

I finally decided to sign up for a streaming TV service, but my circa 2016 Samsung Smart TV was too old to run the latest streaming apps. After doing a LOT of comparison of Roku, Fire, etc. I settled on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV and I'm extremely happy. I wanted a device that could support Gigabit ethernet (instead of operating via WiFi) and the SHIELD fit the bill. The only other device that fully supports Gigabit ethernet is Apple TV, but since I'm already in the Android ecosystem the NVIDIA SHIELD was really a no-brainer. Very satisfied user.

I am currently using this for gigabit Ethernet. The cable works well, though the connector release is a bit on the stiff side. Note: 1Gb Ethernet doesn’t need Cat6a cables (Cat6 is perfectly appropriate; Cat5e is adequate but marginal), I just got Cat6a for future-proofing.

Add Gigabit Ethernet port to laptop. The Yoga 6 build-in Wi-Fi is unstable, & it doesn't come with Ethernet port. Adding this adapter would allow it to connect the network with stable wired connection. With the extra USB ports, you can connect more accessories such as wireless mouse & keyboard.
