There isn’t much that this power supply can’t handle. Left enough wattage to grow into.

There have been several people that report that this camera does not work in the cold. It certainly does but UNDERSTAND that this camera needs more wattage when the internal heater turns on. I suspect that in cold temperatures the internal heater turns on requiring more power. If your POE power device cannot supply the POE+ power (extra wattage)needed for the internal heater then the camera will simply shut off. This is normal. Be sure that your POE power device can handle a POE+ camera. Do your research!! This is a POE+ camera needing and requiring a 30 watt POE+ supply. NOT a regular POE. If necessary, plug this camera into a POE+ switch Not into your NVR directly. This is what I had to do as I had several POE+ cameras and on a very cold night, the NVR failed because it could not supply enough current to keep the internal heaters working on my POE+ cameras. As I said, DO YOUR RESEARCH. This is a great camera but it needs a POE+ supply!!! Most little indoor cameras that are POE don't have high current internal heaters. This camera DOES!! --Greg--

This was my first build in 8 years, and the ability to remove the sides and top of the case made putting everything together a breeze. With my Gigabyte B650I, I found it easiest to connect the USB3 and CPU Fan cables before mounting the motherboard, but that might depend on the layout of your board. I love the touch of real wood on the front panel. Airflow is obviously excellent, and temperatures barely break 65 C under full load. I was able to cram a SFX-L power supply in here, but just barely (SF1000L), so if cable management is important to you, or if you plan to mount a 2.5 SSD under the power supply, consider a smaller SFX model like the SF750. SFX power supplies can be loud though, so if that matters to you, do some homework first. My 2.7 Slot Gigabyte 3070 Ti fit inside comfortably, but the PCIe cables wanted to bulge out of the top of the case and made closing everything up difficult. I was able to route the cables to fit, but depending on your card you might have to purchase a separate right angle adapter. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this case and look forward to cracking it open again when the 6000 series GPUs from NVIDIA arrive.

My Power Supply was dying and I needed another. I upgraded to the Gigabyte 1300W unit which is completely modular. My old PS was only partial modular so it took a little longer to install. I really like this unit and it is pretty quiet and is as described with new heavier cables and plenty of them.

This is a step-up in quality from the power strips at office supply stores, but it is better made and lasts longer. Recommended.
