Globe Space Saving Surge Protector

This is the perfect surge protector for putting behind a cabinet or where space is limited.

This is a nicely made surge protector, relatively compact with a few widely-spaced outlets for power bricks. I tucked this under my sit-stand desk to keep the power cables out of the way. The power-saving outlets that shut off when the main computer goes to sleep are nice but problematic for a Mac with external drives. If an external drive is powered off while the Mac sleeps, the Mac jolts awake and cycles awake-sleep constantly. Luckily those power-saving outlets can be flipped to manual mode.

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting.

Right of the box has been great to a surge protector to keep phones, etc charged and takes up so little space.

This Surge Protector is the perfect size for behind my TV. I love that it has an outlet on top and botton for my bigger plugs and also the end outlet can accommodate a bigger longer plug as well. The last surge protector I had did not have them and my bigger plugs would cover up multiple oulets. I love that it has a small green power light and a small red grounded light so that you know it is working. If you need a 7 outlet surge protector look no further.

This thing is a beast. It's not so much a surge protector as it is a smallish power conditioner. It's hard to tell if you've never seen one, but it is about 3' long. If space is a premium and you don't need clean power, this may not be the droid you're looking for. If you can spare it, and aren't frightened by the price tag (which is entirely reasonable for what you're getting), then I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I love the surge protector I had enough space for all my power supply cords and still had some space left over I am going to buy another one for my bedroom to replace the existing one.
