I typically don't review products until I've had time to test them out thoroughly, but this extention tube really impressed me on the first day. I take a lot of floral shots and want to explore macro photography. I opted for this extension rather than a dedicated lens because of the price just to get me started. As a previous reviewer said, the connection is a little snug, but it worked for me right out of the box as it should. Just be sure to line up the red dots. For this test, I used a Canon EOS 7D with the 28mm - 135mm kit lens (purchased recently from B&H), tripod, adjustable camera platform, 2 sec. timer to minimize vibration, manual focus (but auto-focus works just fine) and basic household flourescent lighting that simulates sunlight. Of course, I had to take the standard quarter test shots. The first three shots were all taken at the closest 135mm wide open at f5.6 (focusing bottom, center and top of the coin) and the last shot at f36 focused on the center. At f36 the center was sharp while the rest of the coin was in focus, it still wasn't tack sharp. 50mm was as far out as I could go while mantining focus. Top and bottom coin shots are uploaded as I can only attach two images. I haven't had it long enough to say if it's durable, but it's a sturdy product. Overall, it does exactly as it states and I'm very pleased with my purchase. For just a bit over double the price, I wish I would've purchased the set of three that also included the 13mm and 21mm.

This calculator is beautiful, stylish and perfect. Item exceeded my expectations. I would purchase again.

With this, I don't always have to have a hex wrench or a coin in my pocket.

The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix.

Glad that it has a flat slot for screwdriver, rather than a curved one for a coin...
