Gold Foil Stick Ink Jet Printer

After much agonizing over types, styles, prices and brand names I arrived at what would be best for my situation... instead of ink jet or mega tank the laser printer won. Now ...what kind? I chose Brother and Im thrilled at the outcome. I dont print much anymore but when I do its going to be something essential . The laser is ready , boots up smoothly, prints quickly and the page is sharp and clear. I did have a slight problem in setup., which was downloaded from the Brother site. It asked for some number that was supposedly on the printer somewhere.....it was not. So I kept looking and found another Brother site for setup and this one worked beautifully. Ot only took a minute or so and it was ready to rock. Since then Ive printed several pages for both written word and artist reditions of animals to use for hobby work and all came out perfectly. I even like the size.of the printer which has a footprint about the same dimensions as my old ink jet., but with a distinctive more compact style. And for the price I paid.....I'm super impressed.

The b&w results on an ink jet printer were very impressive - like the old chemical processing. Beautiful.

get the best ink jet prints possible

I have been frustrated with trying to take pictures of the card games I manufacture. The MS20 was easy to use and created a great outcome. It was nessesary to adjust the contrast to get the background to be pure white, but after that the pictures were great. One of my products has gold foil printing on the box front and side and it is difficult to get even lighting that reflects and highlights the gold foil look. Using the side panels I was able to reflect light up onto the box at different agles to show off the Gold foil logo's without causing odd highlights other places.

We have had several ink jet printers and after a year or two, the ink wells start to dry up and very soon after the printer has to be replaced. We have had our Brother laser printer for several years. These cartridges keep going and going and we have never had any issues. Once we get the ink is low, we order a new one from B&H and have a replacement before the ink runs completely dry.

Works great. I bought this laser printer on sale for about what a decent ink jet would cost and this printer is much better. Only drawback-the cartridges are expensive but, they should last a long time. Anyway, inkjet cartridges aren't cheap, either. So far, I love this printer.
