This item does not bounce or reflect light - it transcends the light source onto the subject in the most beautiful, flawless way. There is such a quality and character to the light this item creates - even flat lighting is a little more exciting with the CA Sun-Bounce. In our industry, lighting is everything, and you really get what you pay for with the Sun-Bounce. Also, do yourself a favor, just pay a little bit more for the Zebra - I've always hated gold reflectors due to their hard/crunchy gold overtone. The zebra is delicate and subtle, and a must have. Setup and break-down is very easy. This is also the most light weight, balanced, and stable reflector there is. I promise you will not be disappointed with this purchase, nor will you ever feel guilty for spending the money on a 'reflector' - especially after you use it for the first time. Enjoy!

This is a two in one reflector. One side is the soft gold and the other side is white. It allows for some great additional soft fill-lighting outside in the sun. I often use it as a light shield to cut down the reflections on the lens. It is very compact and easily folds away. The zipper case for it is very nice. I take this with me on all of my outdoor photo shoots. I've even used it inside a couple of times with great results as well.

If you want hard light simply remove the inner baffles. Your choices of the 4 gold, silver, sun-silver and white panels. Tip: to get the sun-silver use a zig zag combo of gold and silver panels. Very lightweight and *fits* into a handy cool looking Photoflex black nylon softcase. Produces creamy colors on skin tones. Photoflex softbox comes in 3', 5' and 7' sizes. At first set-up time may set you back about 15mins, after practice I have it down in only 3 mins fast set-up time ! I used the 5' and it is huge, easily lights up a group of about 5 people! Beautiful natural round catchlights in eyes from this octobox! *This is my only complaint, the softbox barely fits into the softcase and it takes practice to get the whole thing in the case. IMO they need a bigger case. You have to *stuff* the softbox in the case. WARNING: This softbox DOES NOT come with a speedring for your strobe light!!! Be sure you order a SPEEDRING for your strobe light if you don't already have one. You will not be able to use this softbox WITHOUT A SPEEDRING.

Well-made, seems durable, elastics seem strong, and the gold color really comes in handy on many shoots, especially when outside, using the sun as your main light source.

Works so well, so convenient. Impressed with the sticky tape provided as well. Sticks even after leaving the car under the sun!
