Good Apple Computer For Artist

Always a good buy with any Apple computer.

Great tool for those that are looking for an apple alternative. Looks good, feels good, works for how I'm using it. I'm not an artist or professional. I was just looking for a tool for mark-ups and basic tasks with palm and tilt. I think it's a good value, especially when it goes on sale.

Paperlike makes using my iPad even better. I’m not an artist but I do like taking handwritten notes with my Apple Pencil and it just feels better to write on a less slippery surface. My kids enjoy drawing with Procreate on their iPads and now that I’ve tested it on mine, they’re keen to have Paperlike on their iPads, too. Great product - glad I took the plunge!

I usually purchase an Apple Protection plan on any Apple Computer I purchase, especially since B&H offers it at good price. I have had Apple products in the past where an electronic component failed and having the product put back in working order was completed at No Additional Charge. I feel this is a good investment for electronic products such as a computer where I have a significant investment.

I like and trust Apple Displays for their beautiful image and color accuracy. I retouch photographs and color grade videos and films. The Apple monitor is accurate and bright with great resolution. It's a good size and small footprint on my desk. I purchased it with the new Mac Studio. It works well with the new computer. I purchased the Apple 27 Studio display with just the tilt option and it works fine. It sits nicely above the Mac Studio computer. The stand doesn't take up much desk space. There is no power switch for the monitor. As soon as you turn on the computer it is on and ready for viewing. I also like that there is no sleep light to keep flashing when the monitor is off or sleeping. The bezel around the viewable screen is a reasonable size and smaller than my other LG monitor. The Apple Display is easy to setup. Just plug it in and plug in the included Thunderbolt cable to the computer. Both cables are a soft and flexible black cable. I think the price is reasonable for the Apple Studio Display. My first Apple Display was the HD 24 version and cost around $1899 to $2199. Many years later the 5K 27 version is less money than that. I think that's a good deal. And much more affordable than the 32 XDR 6K monitor. I'm very pleased with the Apple Studio Display, as it just works well and looks great.
