I use this in Canon R series bodies. No video, just photography. Plenty fast for my needs. I've always had good experiences with Lexar memory cards.

I have been a Canon user since film days, starting with the F1n when I was a photojournalist in the US Army. More recently, I've been using the 5D MkIV. I've been shooting more and more video lately and was not getting the results I wanted with the 5D. The autofocus was hit or miss no matter how I tweaked it and the massive 4K files were pretty useless. I had been hearing good things about the Sony mirrorless cameras, so I took the plunge and purchased the a7R IV and a converter to use my Canon lenses on it. I was impressed with the still photo performance using adapted Canon lenses, but autofocus did not work in video mode. So I picked up a Sony 24-105 to see if I got good results shooting video. I spent this past weekend shooting a modern dance concert series with the Sony camera and lens. Lighting ranged from very contrasty to extremely low. The autofocus never lost track of the dancers during the entire 35 minute performance. Video quality was excellent, even though I was shooting at higher ISO than I would have dared with the 5D! I'm sold on Sony. I'm packing up all my Canon glass and purchasing all Sony lenses. The attached picture was shot using a Canon mount Sigma 150-600 Contemporary zoom lens using a Sigma MC-11 mount converter and is heavily cropped - the original .jpg is over 25 megabytes.

I am not a lens expert, but I think the 4/3 Vario lenses are very good. I have Canon red ring video lenses and F series still lenses as well as older legacy lenses from Leica, Canon, Minolta and Sigma, and the Leica lenses are just as good.

I have just started shooting 1080 video with my Canon DSLR but you have to have good microphones to go with them. My LOCAL camera store said my camera would not record stereo but they were wrong. I told the B&H team I had a Zoom Stereo Audio Recorder & this did the trick and I saved a ton of money by using my existing recorder and camera.

I am actually enjoying using this much more than my Canon 80D! Picture is awesome, depth of field in video is crazy good and exactly what I was looking for. Focus tracking is quick and relatively quiet. Camera is small and light. Had I bought this first, I doubt I would have sprung for the Canon 80D. Seriously loving this camera.
