Good Cheap I7 Gaming Laptop
Daniel | 2024-09-07 07:11:34 |
I wanted to repurpose a older I7 based workstation to gaming and this graphics card was a good upgrade since I had a limited amount of power and space available. MSI seem to always make quality products and B & H did their part just fine. 5 |

This is the 13th generation i7 processor. The very latest one. The laptop seems to be built very well especially considering that this is a 2 in 1. So it will need really good hinges as it switches back and forth between a tablet and a laptop. It does not come with a digital pen. So I bought one separately. Overall, it seems like a solid laptop worth the money. Combine it with the 3 year warranty and you are golden for at least 3 years. It does not have a fingerprint reader, but that is not that important for me as you can always use the face biometrics to sign in. Overall, good value for money in my opinion. I hope that it stays good for a few years. My previous HP laptops have all been good. So I think that this one should as well. 5 |

This processor is perfect for my needs of gaming. I was on the fence about the i7 vs this one and I wasn't disappointed with the performance. 5 |

This Gaming Laptop is a solid choice for those who appreciate a machine that balances performance with practicality. It's equipped with Intel i7 ensuring that it can handle the demands of the latest games and multitasking with ease. The 4050 GPU delivers crisp, clear graphics, making every gaming session a visual treat. The Onyx Gray finish gives it a mature, sophisticated look, while the 15-inch display offers a generous view of your digital endeavors. It's a bit on the heavier side, but that's a small price to pay for a laptop that's as reliable as it is powerful. Whether you're gaming, working, or both, this laptop is a dependable partner for the long haul. 5 |

My son just put together in a system with an ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Mini ITX AMD Motherboard, 32 GB Memory, 2 tb NVME. Used his old 2060 Video Card since still can't get the 3080 and still the machine seems incredibly fast compared to his old i7-9700. Windows installed in minutes and his Oculus Rift S runs smoother than ever. In the past it seemed the Ryzen 7's were lagging behind the i7's but does not appear so anymore. Big fan, highly recommend this CPU. 8 Cores - 16 Threads and just a beast of a processor! 5 |

I recently built a gaming pc with a i7 13700KF and this cooler cools the CPU wonderfully. It is very quiet most of the time, and even if the fan speed is spinning as fast as it can, it is still quiet enough to not be heard well if headphones are being worn. Even then, the fan rarely need to go that fast and the only time I have personally heard it go that fast was when I turned up the RPM in the BIOS. It really is a great cooler and I recommend it. 5 |

Purchased this motherboard as the backbone of a new gaming rig. populated with an Intel i7-14700KF, 64GB of Corsair Dominator RAM, 4TB of Samsung M.2 storage and topped with an ASUS RTX 4070Ti graphics board. build went quickly and booted up successfully first time. This has been the result with all of the ASUS M/Bs that I have purchased for my gaming, engineering design and simulation and business applications. I do not consider other brands when I need to build another machine, no reason to switch. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently built a gaming / photo editing machine with an i7-13700kf (with an AIO cooler), 64gb DDR5 RAM, an RTX 4080, and this absolutely huge 4tb SSD. This dream rig will serve for years of editing concert photography and playing games like Cyberpunk 2077. 5 |

It's a good little SSD, just an extra terabyte of storage for gaming on my laptop. Good speed, and I don't really have to worry about the thermal-issues that can arise from putting a 4.0/5.0 NVME in an enclosed laptop chassis. (The differences between 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 SSDs are negligible when it comes to everything besides transfer of large files) 5 |
