Great sound for our video editing using a Mac Pro. 5 |

Updated graphics card on computer used for light photo and video editing and recording music. Only had it for a couple of weeks but works well. 5 |

It is an absolutely amazing graphics card. If it was not for the fact I wanted to get a specific graphics card I would have used this card longer, but after about 2 months of using it for gaming, video and photos editing I found it was an absolute pleasure playing on and working on. I gave it to my wife for her video and photos editing and upgraded myself to an Aorus RTX 2080. 5 |

I have a 5 year old mid-2010 Mac Pro dual quad-core as a video editing platform that started having compatibility issues with Adobe CS5.5 Premiere Pro, a failing graphics card and a 1 TB HDD on it's last leg. I opted to upgrade the processors to dual 3.46 six-core processors, run a MacVidCard flashed Nvidia GTX 780 6 GB graphics card, bump up from 24 GB RAM to 32 GB RAM, and go from OS X Lion to Mavericks. The final internal upgrade was to install a Crucial 1 TB SATA SSD for my primary OS system, applications and storage and a second Crucial 500 GB SATA SSD for current video projects and media. I chose to use the OWC 2.5 Drive Sled. Super slick product that works well. Final results: very fast and extremely stable editing platform. Well worth the money. I plan on adding a third 2.5 OWC Drive Sled to hold another Crucial SSD when money permits for additional storage of projects. Couldn't be happier with the results! 5 |

Bought the 6-core Mac Pro for heavy video editing. Already owned a 2012 MBP 13 RETINA, 2011 Mini, 2012 iMac 27, and 2009 Mac Pro. Using the 2009 Mac Pro for capture, and editing on the iMac. The workflow involved with capturing in ProRes 422, then editing, rendering, and compressing was just taking too much time. Not anymore. Like the title says, this beast is everything they promised. Internal read/writes are @ 900MB/s, there are tons of TBv2 ports, enough USB3, and it's sleek & beautiful. Using dual 27 HDMI monitors, watching Netflix, editing video in FCX, importing video from my portable external storage (using a TB to eSATA adapter)...all at the same time...and doing whatever else I feel like, has proven to be, well, not even a strain. I would suggest the 6-core or better for rendering segmented MOV's, since core quantity will still be important in that scenario. Having 6-cores at over 3.5GHz is just honking awesome. Although a second HDMI would've been cool, I find the TB to HDMI dongle to be quite acceptable. It it expensive? Yes, and that is a drawback, but it is a class apart, and actually made in the USA. I don't actually have enough/proper words to describe the coolness of this tech. If you're on the fence...don't be. 5 |

We got this to expand the USB3 ports in our 2009 mac Pro used for video editing. Unlike most other hubs, this one has a long enough cable to reach from the back of the computer to where we mounted it on top of the front handle with foam tape. Now we don't have to get up and reach around to use the faster USB ports for jump drives, etc. It also looks nice - the Silver option nicely matches the brushed aluminum of the Mac Pro. 5 |

I'm pairing this with my Mac Pro for some video editing and I'm wanting more of these for my surround system now. Went through a couple of other so-called good speakers. One had problems on the left channel right out of the box. These are everything that I've seen on all the reviews and more. Couldn't be happier. 5 |

I purchased the Mac Mini M2 Pro for video editing, as my 2017 Macbook Pro was getting a bit pokey for 4K, 10-bit footage. The new Mini has handled this job without a hiccup so far, and the speedy internal SSD and an external SSD I built to go with it have helped enormously. I'd originally been looking at the Mac Studio, but the less expensive but very punchy Mini made more sense for what I do. Love it. 5 |

I have a heavy video editing workflow that can slow up almost any computer, but the Mac Pro is keeping pace.... it's already saved me a tremendous amount of time, and I look forward to using it for years to come! 5 |

I use my new Mac Pro for both Video Editing, as well as software support on the web, (using Parallels and Windows). The pure power of this 8 core unit makes everything a breeze. I love it. I used an older G5 for years, but it's day had finally come, (and gone). Love my new Mac Pro. 5 |
