I bought this for travel with my new MacBook Pro that wants a 140W charger. This one lets me charge three things at once, unlike the Mac charger. However, it only delivers 140W when only the MacBook Pro is plugged into it. If you plug one or two other items, the MBP only receives 100W, but that seems to be sufficient for overnight charging while also charging the phone, watch, or whatever. It feels well made, a little heavier than a similar 100W charger it replaces, but it's the close to the same dimensions, which are smaller than the Apple charger that comes with the MacBook Pro. 5 |

In general, I like the 2019 MacBook Pro with the scrolling thingy above the keyboard. But C'mon Apple...Now I have to spend hundreds of dollars on cables and adapters for new Thunder Bolt 3 ports. I have 2 drawers full of older and (now) non userful cables. If you're gonna do this, you ought to providde at least one 5 |

Works great on my new MacBook Pro 13 M1 (late 2020). HOWEVER when I tried to use longer cables than the half meter cable supplied, I got jittery video and screen freezes. I did some reading on the net and discovered that once Thunderbolt 3 cables exceed half a meter in length, they lose capability unless they are active instead of passive. I decided to leave well enough alone and keep using the half meter cable that works! 5 |
