I've used the blue yeti for a long time and decided to get another one. It's a solid microphone for podcasts, voice over, and gaming. It may not be as specialized and higher quality as XLR microphones but it still performs well. 5 |

I'm using this microphone for podcasts and screencasts. The power supply for this mic gives a generous boost to gain and doesn't require phantom power. I'm using it when background noise is not an issue. Works well with the Rode shock mounts. This is a very nice mic. 5 |

I use this microphone for audio podcasts and have found the quality to be excellent. I directly record into GarageBand on my MAC. The connection to the computer was as simple as plugging in any USB device and was up and running in seconds. The quality for this price made this an excellent purchase.
