Good Monitor For Mac

I bought this to hook up my Mac Mini to my monitor. It works fine and seems to be well made. It's a good value.

The perfect monitor for the Mac Studio.

Plugged it into the mac and was able to plug into a DVI monitor. That's about all I have to say about it, and about all it needs to do.

Was able to use my old dvi monitor on my new mac mini.

Needed to add a monitor for a new Mac Studio. Connection was seamless, colors out of the box are good, quality of the monitor is nice, good ergonomic adjustment capability and overall happy. For the price, this is great. It is not super high-end, but that wasn't my target.  Let's face it, the monitors and screens of every digital end user is going to be different, I'm confident in the quality of the display I'm seeing will not give me a result that will end up with any client drama.

I have been using the monitor for about 2wks with no issue. Good to go out of the box. Using with a Mac book pro for video and photo editing.

This truly is a very good, well built monitor. A wonderful companion piece paired with the Mac Studio. The Color Accuracy right out of the box is great. Great for my photo editing needs. I recommend it highly.

Great Monitor! This is one of the few tech products I have purchased where the product actually exceeded even the makers' Marketing. The design is simple, the build quality quite good. The screen itself is fantastic. Edge to edge sharpness and illumination levels as close to perfect as I have ever seen. It is also very easy on your eyes. Long editing sessions won't leave you nearly as eye tired. I had often wondered, using my old setup, why my photographs were not as sharp as I thought they should be. My printer (a Canon Pixma Pro-100) delivered sharper prints than the photos seemed to be as they appeared on my monitor. The CS2740 has shown me that the images were actually very sharp, the monitor just couldn't display at that level. There are some things that might be less than optimum for some users. Type can be very small as can some controls in programs like Photoshop. For me, as a Mac user, this has been little or no problem. I cannot speak to how it may affect users of other computers. The Mac allows me to enlarge (or reduce) typefaces, interfaces and window sizes. That lets me easily enlarge type where the need for it is critical. The payoff though, for image makers of all kinds, is that you will see and work with your images with new found detail, incredible color rendition and much easier match to prints and printed media of all kinds. It doesn't hurt that B&H sells the Eizo at a very good price either.

You buy this because you want complete compatibility with a mac and the screen is VERY nice. I did not go with the antiglare and I am happy. The power supply and new cables allow you to directly power your new MacBook Pro from the monitor! You can ditch the brick on your power strip. The sound is nice/good, but surprisingly not as good as my 8 year old iMac. You probably already know the cam is horrible, but for me, it's still usable, it could be far worse. The included cable is waaaaay too short, I think it's 30 inches. You want a longer Apple cable, the options are $129 or $159! And this to the already very high price of the monitor, and I chose the VESA mount and put a pair of these on Ergotron arms and overall am very happy. As they say, buy the best, you only cry once.
