This portable scanner has very good features going for it. It is very light and easy to carry around. It does not take lots of space on my office desk or in a drawer. It has an inbuilt battery which charges through a USB. I found the interface very user friendly and easy to install. I was able to scan business cards, photos, receipts and documents in a very short time. I have scanned and sent purchase receipts and orders to my office. They were very clear with no black areas. Very fast and efficient. Being able to scan with the OCR option makes documents searchable. This is one small and fantastic scanner! This is the first portable scanner I’ve ever had. I’ve had several ScanSnap and Fujitsu scanners before, but never a portable scanner. This works amazingly well and has very good battery life. I brought this with me on a recent trip to Minnesota for work and was able to scan documents I picked up as well as all of my receipts for expense reports in the hotel room. It slipped easily into my backpack and seems like it will be sturdy enough to travel around with. Scanning Speed: I found that about 200dpi for text seemed to provide the best mix of speed and quality. At 200dpi it was basically spitting out documents way faster than I anticipated. It should be plenty fast to use on the road! At 600dpi, it was still quick but I’ll admit, noticeably slower. Duplex (2-sided) scanning was very quick as well which is an added bonus! Scanning Quality: There are several options in the scanning software to cleanup and deskew the document as well and those seemed to do a very good job. Hardware: The scanner has a pop-up set of arms that come out to support full-page documents and that seemed to support my papers just fine. It folds neatly back into the device when not in use. Installation: I would suggest that you go to the Epson website and pull the latest software for the scanner and install it before connecting the scanner. Once you do that, its very simple to setup and use, basically just plug it in and go. The wireless setup was pretty easy to set up as well and seems to be working fine while I’m at home. For me though, I’ll probably stick to the wired connection because its just easier to plug it in and its zero-config. Disclaimer: This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This portable scanner just does wonders, it’s a versatile piece of technology that Epson has put together. The box includes connecting cable and a quick start guide to get along easily. Epson provides links to download its apps online known as EpsonScan. The Scanner needs the software to get started. The scanner is thin and very portable, significantly smaller and lighter weight (0.66lb) than any other scanners in the market. It is powered by either the USB connection or the internal USB-rechargeable battery and does not require an AC adapter. Its battery powered and micro USB rechargeable which works like a charm on all devices, the looks are elegant with a nice little LCD display and has a pro touch to itself. The scan quality is great and can be done through Wi-Fi/ wired methods which are really simple to follow. Functions like multiple pages scanning, single file output, easy conversion of scanned copies into desired format, rotation and deletion of individual pages are all included with this package. It has a power button which will do the job without any app access and comes with a slot to secure the scanner from theft. It can also scan business cards, Photo IDs which is a plus. It has a scan resolution up to 300dpi which is just okay for a scanned copy and it doesn't have an automatic document feeder which requires manual intervention every time a new page is loaded and it doesn't come with a memory card slot where the documents can directly be stored in rather than on a desktop app or a mobile app. Overall it’s an excellent piece of technology and very convenient. I am going with 5 star for this Epson Product for being the most portable scanner which is easy to use and is great enough to do the job. I do a ton of scanning on a daily basis for work and personal use and my printer/scanner is not by my desk so its a pain in the butt. I just received the Epson Workforce ES-60w Wireless portable scanner last week. I was able to get it up and running within a matter of minutes the longest thing was entering in my wifi code. I love that it is a Wireless Portable Scanner i can sit on my floor to scan all our receipts or photos from our trips without being tied to the computer. I have tried other small scanners and they either only scan in b&w or the image is horrible. i use this for photos, receipts, documents, insurance cards and business cards (photos scans come out so nice). I wasnt sure if this would be quick enough for me to use for work, but it is! you can can multiple sheets quickly, they show up on your screen to verify they are correct and you can save them in the format you want. This is a review for the ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This standalone portable scanner is one of the best I have used. It is quick and compact in size. I love the Wi-Fi ability to scan right to your computer or phone. The size of the unit is a major plus. It doesn’t take up any room on my desk and is highly portable. Initial setup of the scanner can be tricky but after the setup the scanner works without a glitch. This is a well-made device worth having and I will get much use out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a portable compact scanner with automatic document feeder. It has a capacity of scanning up to 30 pages per minute. It compatible with both iOS and windows. It connects with usb C so you need to either get an adapter or connect it to your laptop. I put my mouse next you it for size comparison. Scan resolution is 600x600 dpi which is impressive for such a light scanner. It comes with 3 free softwares and can use iprint&scan app which lets you to scan to your device. It’s overall a very nice scanner, I wish it was wireless but that’s more expensive so can’t complain.

I wanted a portable scanner than could run off of batteries and be connected either to a wireless network or to USB. The ES-300W succeeds on all counts. To my pleasant surprise, my first scan was set to a lower resolution, but the output was excellent. The only nit I have is that I wanted Linux compatibility, but could not get the scanner working unless it was connected via USB. Not a big deal. Running w/ Window 8 worked flawlessly. ** Too Fast - not really. I only use the scanner for home use, so functionality and quality output is more important than speed. But, man is it fast.
