Good Rugged Cases With Keyboards For Ipad

I have tried several keyboards and will buy nothing but the rugged book from Zapp.

This is my 2nd Rugged case. It is heavier than most cases but I like that it is sturdy and versatile. Because the keyboard is detachable it allows you to change iPad positioning easily. The keyboard is very responsive. The only downside is that it doesn’t accommodate a Logitech Crayon pen because it has a flatter shape than the iPad pen.

After several efforts to make an iPad more than just a browsing and gaming gadget, I dove deeper with the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch. iOS 13 convinced me that the iPad might be more useful than previously. The iOS makes a big difference, but having a real keyboard to use with it, made the iPAD Pro a home run. I'm very satisfied with this keyboards performance and functionality. The Apple smart keyboard is too limited for my needs (think: emaciated super model) and the big bulky overbuilt keyboards negate the advantages of the iPads diminutive size. I can't speak to it's durability as I've only had it a couple of months. So far so good. I'm actually using the iPad Pro more and more for emails, writing and everyday tasks that I gave up on with my previous iPAD 2 and iPAD Air 2. It is quickly becoming a replacement for my MBP for mobile computing needs. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro, along with an Apple Pencil is a big part of that transition.

I have used PD cases since their release and they are just the best. You have to maximize their utility by getting different attachments, but even if you don’t, this case is good looking and rugged. I don’t use screen protectors on my phones and have dropped my phone a few times with no issues so far. I got the yellow case and love the pop of color. Thanks Peak Design for another well designed, durable product!

So look, I've now got 5 of these cases for my GoPro cameras, GPS unit and four bigger Pelican cases for audio gear, still camera, and small Steadicam rig. Plainly I like them. They are rugged, they are waterproof (not tested by immersion but just fine in a driving rainstorm), they are relatively light weight. I used to use plywood road cases back in the day and those weighed a ton. The iM2050 is a great size for carrying onto an airplane or train or bus or a car. Does not make a good pillow; but, rugged enough for a foot rest (muddy boots okay). At a previous job we had 4 large rolling Pelican cases that got shipped all over the United States and back again with no losses. Pelican makes good stuff. You should buy it.

I tried several cases for my new phone and this one by far is the best. It’s rugged, light and feels really good in the hand. GET THE WALLET WITH STAND!!!

It's been some days since I purchased the cases and they are as I spected, rugged an really well builded.

The rugged book makes me feel confident if I drop my iPad it’s going to be okay. Works really communication has been really good with my iPad. The only thing that would make it better is if when the iPad is attached to the keyboard if it could go all the back so you can hold it as one piece. But it separates from the keyboard which is nice.
