I bought this camera to meet the rules of Russia travel. (Small, non professional, not full frame, limited to 250 mm lens) I have read the manual and taken some images. The lens and camera are well paired and the quality is remarkable. It is one of the few cameras in its class that will shoot raw. It is a good but not as good as my D850. Thanks for BH advisor who steered me in its direction. 5 |

I am using it for my small professional camera. Small enough to carry it along. Using this strap is so much better than the one I used so far. On this one, you can slide the adjustment piece and it is nice and fits around your wrist. Even if you open your hand, the camera will never drop to the ground. 5 |

Discontinued? i just bought this on 12/31/2011! I am a professional videographer. Bought this for my mother in law. I got 2 things to say and that makes this a WINNER! 1- My draw dropped when i saw the footage from this in low light. NO GRAIN!! How can this be better in low light than a 4 thousand dollar Sony HXR NX-5U camera? Video is clean, clean, CLEAN!!! I test drove this camera pushing it to the limit by using its full exposure control, custom white balance, manual focus, IRIS, etc. no zebra and no peaking. that would be ridiculously awesome if it did! Idiots from canon... Zoom is nice and slow, playback menus are beautiful! Audio is not bad at all. HDMI cable included? That is RARE!! Like EVERY small, non professional camcorder, the only thing i hate about these little cameras is that the view is so tight almost like a 70mm lens at its WIDEST... Why do manufacturers think that regular consumers don't need a wide lens? Absolutely yes I recommend this even for pros who need a small camera for vacation and still bring home professional clean footage. 5 |
