I got these headphones to use as both studio and field monitors, but listening to music is also truly a treat. It's lovely to hear music entirely as it was intended to be heard; no added bass or anything. These are the real deal, and they will make you both fall in love with your favorite records all over again, and will help you capture and mix amazing audio. What are you waiting for? 5 |

I am 20yo and an aspiring sound producer. I listen to a vast amount of music and just about everything I can find to play on these headphones. From usage in my studio projects to simple leisurely activities (games, music) these headphones are very strong assets. There is excellent outside noise rejection and cancellation once you start playing something. You'd have to wave your hands or cause a tremor in the room to let me know you're trying to get my attention. These headphones are powerful and comfortable, and I love to use them for absolutely everything I am able to use headphones to listen to. It even came with a handy PreSonus draw-sack, although the drawstrings quickly broke within a month or less of day-to-day usage. The only drawbacks for me were: (1.) the result of an accident that occurred where the headphones were plugged into a laptop and the laptop got knocked over onto the side of the audio jack, bending into and ruining my laptop's audio jack input, as well as the headphone's jack. The fall was less than two feet off the ground yet the impact was large enough to cause such damage. (2.) The cord is way too long for my style of usage when not in my studio. I find myself having to coil the string up in my pocket whenever I'm mobile. However, that's clearly not the type of usage it was intended for when it was made. Personal mishaps and usage habits aside, these headphones are awesome, and are an excellent buy for the asking price. 5 |

I've been looking for some time the right solution for my small studio. It's a 12ft x 13ft space. Most of the time I was listening to HiFi music through my high-end headphones, but at times I just wanted to take them off and continue to listen to music. I had other speakers that sounded flat. I hooked this directly to an iFI DAC and magic! The sound is very neutral, the highs are very clear, the bass powerful enough. Now I find myself listen more without my headphones. 5 |

I was looking for affordable studio headphones to mix and master my own music tracks, basically guitars, bass and drums at night so my family wouldn't have to sleep in a tent ;-). As of today the sound quality is very good. The bass is not overwhelmed, mid and highs are very well balanced. If you are bass and highs lover they are not for you. They are not 100% studio monitors replacement but for occasionally work at night and tracking are perfect. I have to mention that my head is a size of melon so I'm always worry about the comfort. In this case is no issue. 5 |

I did my homework on studio headphones and answered the question, what do the people in radio and film use in the studio? Answer; If it's not the Sony MDR-7506 then it's the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro. These are studio headphones, they are not the expensive high end types used to listen to your classical music in a lounge chair. These are the working professionals headphone, used to monitor audio, edit music and video. They are not tainted with accentuated deeper base or higher highs, they reproduce the music/audio as it was recorded. It boils down to personal preference and look between these two, even the prices are the same. But, beware of counterfeit makes, lots of them out there. You can't beat the price brand new, anything allot cheaper is not the real thing. I found B & H to have the cheapest price for brand new and the unquestionable absolute authentic item. If you want professional stereo studio monitoring headphones you found them right hear, go no further! 5 |
