Furman Pro's are the only surge suppressors power strips I purchase there are heavy duty and could take loads of amps even had them in the rain had one practically explode but I reset it after I dried it thoroughly and it powered back up if you want a power block surge protector these are the ones to purchase and this is the small one they have very large ones professional bands and artists use them in concerts and if it's good enough for them it's good enough for my TV and computer! 5 |

I've always used a surge protector but nothing like this. I've gotten good ones or so I thought. But in all these years I've never had anything happen to actually need one. And still, haven't. And not having a power surge or something similar how would I even know if it works. And not being very knowledgeable on this subject. Anyhow I was reading an article about surge protectors and it convinced me I should get a good one. This was one of them that was recommended. Having now gotten it I will say it is impressive. Also, you can run your coaxial to your TV through it. That really helped by cutting out some interference I was getting. So in summing up, I like it. And I feel confident I'm protected. 5 |

It's a good surge protector. There's not much to say about it, although I do like the layout of the outlets with the three angled plugs for larger power bricks. It has plenty of outlets, mounts nicely, and has a couple of built-in USB charging ports which could make it easier to power additional media streaming devices when the rest of the outlets are taken up by the rest of your media console items. 5 |

I have only had this surge protector but about 1 month and so far it has been a good one have not had no lightning storms are bad power surges yet to see if it will do its job. 5 |

Not all surge protectors are created equally. Most are just power strips misidentified as surge protectors, but are a strip of electrical sockets. If your equipment is worth protecting, why would you use a fake, cheap substitute? 5 |

Most consumer surge protectors are just power strips that will offer no protection of your electronics. The Furman is the Real Deal. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beast of a power strip/surge protector. It's the largest one we have ever used. I attached it to my wall with industrial strength sticky strips that can be easily removed, instead of drilling into my wall to screw it in, we may need to reposition it or move it in the future. I was using 2 smaller power strips before I received this and this took their place. I feel more organized now, and it freed up a little space. There are 12 outlets to plug devices into, and there's plenty of room for larger ac adapters. The cable/cord management clip is very handy, keeps cords from getting messy and out of control. There are ethernet and Coax outlets, which we will be using in the near future. It's nice looking, it feels like it's made of a thick sturdy plastic but it looks great. I feel confident that the surge protection will protect my devices in a power surge event. I like it very much, I'm totally happy with it. 5 |

The APC P8VNTG Power Saving Surge Protector is a great product, potentially impacted by inferior quality. The product itself is attractive, well, as attractive as a power strip can really be. The black design melds into most home theater decors. I personally like the blue LED lighting, but they are VERY bright. So if you don't have the power strip hidden behind something, the light may be distracting. 5 |
