Good Video Camera For Home Videos

I use this camera for both family/ home videos and my own personal video projects which are more creative/travel projects. The camera works very well for both applications. It's small enough to carry easily for family outings but also has the features and images quality necessary for more professional use.

I use it for my home office. Good sound, good video. The download app for the camera is extremely basic, bordering on not helpful.

It's pretty good for a consumer level product and was used to record videos with a Sony video camera. Make sure you don't accidentally insert the 9V battery oriented incorrectly (positive/negative).

I recently purchased this camera as i want to learn and make some videos not only i was surprised about the video capability of this camera but also the image quality is really good. This camera is super light but feels good in my hand. Still trying to get used to it and so far doing well. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a good Canon camera, needed one Video stabilizer for better quality videos, with this Revo ST-500 I could very easily set and get the desired results. I take photos and videos on family occasions at home and outdoor.

Bought this mainly for filming family videos. The 4k 60p out of this looks so good. IBIS is decent (even at active), but much better than previous a7 series cameras. Not on the level of s1h IBIS, but i'll take it. Feels great in the hand, and the flip screen is definitely a plus. The USB C connection is great to connect to an ipad pro and view the files straight from there. The full size HDMI is great for playing back videos on your tv/monitor directly since I film in XAVS HS codec, which currently only my ipad pro 2018 can play back smoothly (not even my imac 2017 can play back that codec). The dual gain ISO or whatever you want to call it for this camera is ridiculous at 12800 in SLOG3 for low light. The standard profile with some tweaks is great for out of camera video too. The stills (despite 12mp) coming from this camera also gives off that full frame look at times which I love. Overall, I find this to be a great run and gun portable video camera for my family in all situations (good lighting and bad lighting), while also offering the smooth 4k60p video quality and reliable AF.

Home Videos by the causal user, around the home and Grandson videos this Media Mod greatly improved the Voice quality and also with the Media light helped remove pesky unwanted shadows.

... i did not use dolly yet, never had time, but from the first sight it looks ok. I'm very fresh in video production (amature). i would like to start doing some home videos, it will be my new hobby. i hope i can save money and buy more stuff from B&H. Thank you guys.

I used it to do a video on a wedding and it did the work fine. I'll thinking on buying a second one to do my own videos at home. Just buy it, you'll be pleased.

I use these for my larger home video collection, as well as various videos. These are a lot less expensive than SDXC cards, so I like that. And so far, no coasters, I also like that
