Good Wireless Backup Camera

if your wireless unit fails you, this is your backup.

Works just as well as my notebooks internal wireless card. It makes a good backup solution.

I thought the stock mic with the Sony UWP V1 was pretty good, but after hearing so much about this one I decided to pull the trigger. I had two wireless sets and needed a backup, and now this is my main mic and one of the stock mics is backup. This mic has taken my work to the next level. A very good wireless system with an average mic is cheating yourself. The richness gives that pro feel I've been looking for. A happy camper!

I ran this mic as a backup to my wireless and it performed beautifully. Good quality sound, if a bit thinner than the wireless. I would use it as a standalone. I did have an issue with one interview where the sound was entirely noise. Not sure if it was the mic, a loose connection, or the software.

I need a couple of low-cost backup wireless mics for a project. They have turned out to be really good mics. Comes in a protective carry case with impact storage cutouts. Works well with one dual-channel receiver on the camera for two separate transmitters. The receiver and transmitters are powered by AA batteries or a USB power source. The bodies are plastic, so not as robust as my Sennheiser's, but the total cost of the whole system was only ably 25% the cost of one Senn body pack. The battery cover is a little tricky to lock in place, but I discovered that you have to press and slide for it to lock into place. Other than these minor points, I highly recommend this for a low-cost high-quality sound with very good digital cannel selection avoiding any interference or dropouts.

Bought this as a backup to the battery I got with my camera. As good as the name-brand.
