[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the NetGear Router for my 1 bed apartment! It instantly created a great experience and Wi-Fi connectivity for all my devices. 10/10

I get little to no wifi connection on one end of my apartment. A family member recommended this product. I can plug an ethernet from my router into the device on one end, and then plug the other device on the far end of my apartment to plug my computer into. When I want to have a solid connection while playing online games, I move it into the room with my xbox. I have noticed the following configurations work right out of the gate: 1. Plugged into the router works for PC, MacBook, and Xbox without any special configuration. 2. Plugged into the modem (mine has two LAN network options) works for MacBook only. It seems doable to make this work with other devices, I'm just not sure how.

I will continue to order this product from B&H. It arrived on schedule and in perfect condition. Great router for apartment, office or small home.

We live in a 1,000 sq. ft. apartment and our previous modem router just wasn't up to the task. The Netgear Nighthawk is doing a great job giving us triple the download speed and a strong signal throughout the apartment with no dead spots. We're using the Nighthawk for streaming videos and emails. We aren't using it for gaming so I can't help you if that is your thing, but I can tell you that we often have four devices attached at the same time and there weren't any noticeable delays.

Been a great router, perfect if you want high speed in an apartment. If you have a big house maybe something with a bit more range. But for the price no complaints

This wifi router is extremely easy to set up, and has a ton of features to protect your computers from hackers. You do not need any special IT knowledge to set this router up all it takes is a phone with the Ubiquiti app installed and the app walks you through the process. Because it is Ubiquiti it also has a ton of features that allow you to scan your traffic to prevent malware and hacking. I replaced a seven year old Airport with this unit in a roughly 750 sq ft apartment that has thick plaster walls and I have great service in every room. Another feature that makes this product great for apartment dwellers is the unit tweaks its wifi bands in response to the other wifi signals around you. This means that it will identify what wifi channels have a lot of traffic on them already, and broadcast on others so that you get the best bandwidth possible.

I had an old D-Link router that began to have issues with its wireless connections throughout my house, so I figured it was time for a new router. Decided to try the Nighthawk AX4 AX3000 since it was a new model, was on sale and had good reviews. Setting up the router was super easy, barely an inconvenience, via the phone app and the instructions provided. Even my old AVR has its wireless connection back after having lost it for over a year. I initially had issues with the Ethernet connection to my desktop computer which is an old HP, but it seems to has resolved itself lately. The signal strength is still a little weak in my master bedroom and in the kitchen, but I am still able to connect without dropping the signal. So far, so good!

Very easy clean setup with this UAP. I wanted to relocate my wireless access point (wireless router) from it's poor location so I was able to cleanly install this on top of my entertainment center with only a single CAT5E cable. Works like a charm. SETUP The product was very simple to setup. I ended up at first just using the iOS app to set it up which allow for you to get it up and running quickly. I then later installed the controller software on my iMac (after deciding my raspberry pi wasn't a good idea). The software is much more robust in terms of what it can do. Here you can RF scan, and check your site out. The controller software isnt required to run all the time so this is a good option to see what it can do. Only certain features will require it to be running all the time. Overall I'm very happy and am planning on purchasing a Ubiquiti Edge ER-X router in the near future and possibly even a Unifi Cloud Key, although, for a residential unit, it's not really needed.
