Google Cast Speakers

got this bc I don't have WiFi. Took a while to figure out how to get it to cast onto the TV from my Android phone (Moto g5s plus) without a WiFi connection. First, turn off WiFi setting on the phone. After Chromecast plugged in, download Google Home app on the phone to connect. During setup, when ask to connect to WiFi, turn on the phone hotspot and connect to the phone hotspot instead of WiFi. After connection complete, can uninstall Google Home app and still cast via phone hotspot. Found helpful setup videos on YouTube

I use this in combination of the iOS phone and Google Home app. I have a PLEX server set up to cast movies. I also am able to cast Showtime via Google Home to watch Homeland on Chromecast Ultra. It is faster to process the movie and no lag or synchronization problems because of the ethernet cable. Recommended if you have Plex or just use Google Chrome to watch shows a lot. If you have a TV that is CEC compatible and enabled, you can launch Google Home from the iPhone and it will automatically start both Chromecast Ultra and your TV with just the app.

Super heavy duty weight but completely stable. Worked well with my Music Cast 20 speakers & looks like it has multiple options to secure other brands of speakers.

Love these speakers! Had 3, got 2 more. Being able to link the 5 together gives an amazing sound without the high volume. The only way I can cast digital music from my phone to multiple Bluetooth speakers!

I had a little trouble at the beginning with the speakers unpairing but I found out it was my week WiFi signal. I installed Google Mesh and haven't had a single problem. The speakers sound terrific.

I've had many smart and not so smart speakers connected to my TV in various ways. For context all of our TV watching is done via Apple TV. We've used Bluetooth speakers, original Google home speaker, homepod and even Sonos one. My favorite feature is that I no longer have to connect a speaker every time I want to watch TV. The HDMI ARC connection works great. My only gripe is that I'm still waiting for Google Assistant.

I installed this as a standalone installation (without an existing door bell chime). I used the google power adapter purchased from the google website. The doorbell was easy to install. I am extremely happy with the person and package notifications that I get promptly on my phone and apple watch. This doorbell integrated seamlessly with my google nest wifi / google speakers. A few seconds after someone rings the doorbell my google speakers chime. My only complaint is that the camera view could be a little bit wider. I I would like to capture a little more of the floor infront of my door. I could probably angle the doorbell down a little to accomplish this.

Audio and sound is excellent two speakers top / bottom. Internet access on wifi faster than 2018 win 10 laptop. Only negative is all the Google applications requesting personal information and sign up, accept, got-it, send to cloud. Motorola needs to keep Google apps off it's products. Overall satisfaction 110%

We wanted speakers that did not double as a home surveillance system like Alexa and Google Home devices provide. With Google and Alexa products your in-home behaviors are logged and used in their internal database to develop profiles that can be sold to other companies. Finding a great wireless speaker only has been a challenge until the Roku speakers. One of the best purchases we have ever made for home entertainment. Bold sound and very versatile can unplug them and move to another room and the sound follows to backyard, garage, etc. Looking to buy a 3rd pair.
