I ordered this processor on the first day of availability. It arrived and the Asus Tuf x570 Pro board with latest bios is happy with it. I’m hosting a few websites and running MySQL on Win 10 Pro with many years of Google, Bing, and Yahoo ads client data quickly presenting at Google Data Studio. I had a full rack at a data center with Intel Xeon CPUs to handle this before just a few years ago. I was paying more than the cost of this processor monthly. No more Win Server and SQL license fees also. Latest SSD also helps, big gains in IOPS. Of course this was worth waiting for and it supports a great workstation at the same time. Very happy, thanks AMD.

I use is to record trip data when driving, and the folder on the back cover is handy for holding documents that i need.

I needed a new main computer for my music production studio. I was not sure whether to buy this or the 2.93 12-core. I did some research and everything pointed to processor speed trumping core count in heavy DAW use. It is true. This machine outperforms a friends 2.93 12-core in plugin/Virtual instrument count in both Logic and Cubase. The only downside is that you are limited to a max of 24GB of RAM (using 8GB sticks) to still get the triple channel functionality. But that's still quite a lot.

Got this for a dash cam which will constantly record over old data. Great specs and ratings. Flawless so far.

I purchased two of these for the Tilta screen modification kit that supplies an NVME USB drive enclosure. One from Newegg since BH was out of stock. With new drives, I record on them at the maximum data rate the drive can handle until it's full. I previously tested the Intel 660P which couldn't sustain more than 12:1 at 60P and by the end of the record time of 5hrs at 24fps, was literally too hot to handle. To my surprise, both SN750s recorded BRAW 3:1 at 60fps until full and were warm at the end of the recording. I don't know if it has to do with a sustained data rate vs burst. The 660P has a write speed of 1800MB/sec. Quite a bit higher than the 500MB/s write speed of the Samsung 500GB T5, and yet my T5s can record 3:1 BRAW at 60fps without issue. The SN750s are still yet quite a bit faster than both at 3000MB/s write speed, and apparently have no issue with any compression or bitrate of the BMPCC4K.
