I use this in combination of the iOS phone and Google Home app. I have a PLEX server set up to cast movies. I also am able to cast Showtime via Google Home to watch Homeland on Chromecast Ultra. It is faster to process the movie and no lag or synchronization problems because of the ethernet cable. Recommended if you have Plex or just use Google Chrome to watch shows a lot. If you have a TV that is CEC compatible and enabled, you can launch Google Home from the iPhone and it will automatically start both Chromecast Ultra and your TV with just the app. 5 |

We wanted speakers that did not double as a home surveillance system like Alexa and Google Home devices provide. With Google and Alexa products your in-home behaviors are logged and used in their internal database to develop profiles that can be sold to other companies. Finding a great wireless speaker only has been a challenge until the Roku speakers. One of the best purchases we have ever made for home entertainment.
