Google Nest Doorbell Camera Installation Instructions

We received the Nest Hello Doorbell as a gift, and we just recently installed this item. The installation instructions were step-by-step, and very easy to follow. We haven't had any problems with this product, and are very happy to know that we are able to see who is coming or going from our property. The quality of the picture is amazing, and we also have a good view of our street as well as.

I installed the Nest doorbell the other day. I watched the installation instructions on there website and followed the installation instructions on the mobile app. They were vey easy to follow and in no time I had our door bell installed. The app was easy to navigate and I was able to set the door bell up with the features we needed. The experience was much easier than anticipated. Very pleased

Firstly it's a shame that Google still hasn't officially offered and supported the Google Nest Video Doorbell in Australia. Now that I have it, I can't understand technically why. Thankfully B&H Photo offer the product to us Aussies and the ordering and pricing was fantastic. In short, I couldn't be happier with the device. The install was straight forward and the responsiveness of receiving alerts is with a second or two. Following are some other points others might find useful. - i didn't have an existing doorbell. I only had a CAT6 cable running to the doorbell. I am using a 24V AC 1AMP power supply located approx 20m away to power the doorbell over 2 pairs of the CAT6 cable. No issues whatsover. - My cable was already approx 1500 high off the ground which unfortunately is a little too high to see the ground in the video. - I don't have a chime. I am using the Google minis around the home to announce visitors and it works great. - The AI of Nest aware subscription is awesome. Love that it recognises faces and announces them. It also detects a parcel being delivered and also the parcel being collected. Worth the extra subscription fee. - 2 way audio communication is loud and clear. Video resolution is also great. So as you can probably pickup I am really happy with it. Thanks again to BH Photo for providing a trustworthy and reliable service to your international customers.

The Nest doorbell is the best option for the price point. What makes this stand apart is the deeper integration into the Google ecosystem. The fact it announces who is at the door on your Google Home devices after you've trained it is awesome.

After reading reviews and doing some research, I decided to buy the Nest Hello video doorbell . I was pleasantly surprised to see that the installation and setup was easy and quick. I integrated it with my Google Hub device and very happy with it. I'm hoping that Google has a standalone version that I can install at my other entrance at home (no existing doorbell at this location).

I got the nest hello doorbell as I’m currently on a google home environment. I could not have asked for anything better! The video quality is excellent, the doorbell is packed with smart AI features and yet, it’s super intuitive to use. There are MANY features I like, but the fact that you can turn the bell chime on/off from the app is great as we have a newborn and a dog.

Ordered the Google Nest doorbell from B&H as we don't get any choice of colour in Australia. Setup was super easy and comes with everything you need, the app walks you through the whole setup process. Video quality during the day or at night is extremely clear, I have this set up with my Sonos speakers to notify when someone is at the door. Would highly recommend the nest doorbell. Only one side note is that notifications can sometimes delayed depending on internet/ reception. I've noticed this mainly when outside the house.

Video and audio quality is great, as is build quality. Camera control through the Nest app is straight forward and facial recognition works really well. Having the doorbell notify all my Google/Nest Home speakers was one of my main reason for not seriously looking at other doorbells. My only small gripe is I don't have an existing powered doorbell and it took a little bit of work to figure out how to best provide power as I'm in Australia and can't use the US power supply. In the end I purchased a 24VAC 1A adaptor which works fine. I never owned a smart doorbell so this would be my first experience and I have nothing to compare it with but Nest Hello does not disappoint. Installation was easy and took about a half hour A to Z. The footage is incredibly clear even at night. Very happy with the purchase.

Nest hello is a premium doorbell with premium features. My first thoughts after installing it was "wow, awesome product". The installation was very simple. It took me just over 30 minute to complete. The instructions in the app where very simple to follow. Once the installation is finished the doorbell is added to your account and your ready to go. I recommend this product.
