Google Private Browsing Class Action

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this soundbar. I upgraded my 10 year old soundbar that was smaller than this. It just wasn’t filling my living room with the riveting sounds I prefer when watching action movies. It did have a subwoofer, but adjusting the settings on that was nowhere near as intuitive as this new LG soundbar. With this new LG soundbar I can easily flip between AI Sound, Clear Voice, Bass, Cinema, Sports, and other pre-programmed themes. Set up was a breeze. I plugged in the optical cord, powered up the subwoofer and then plugged in the soundbar. Everything paired without me having to do anything. It immediately worked with my Google Chromecast remote. Setting up the AI sound was a bit more difficult. My living room just doesn’t seem to be set up to utilize this feature. I previously kept my subwoofer behind my couch for the oomph, but LG wouldn’t pair the AI Sound until I placed it next to the soundbar, up on my mantle. This means I either need to decide to keep it up on my mantle next to the soundbar or move it to another location in my living room and not use the AI Sound feature. That being said, I love this soundbar. I immediately put on Saving Private Ryan to see what kind of sound this thing could put out. Wow. My wife made me turn it down, but I felt like I was part of the action. I switched to John Wick and felt the same thing. It was like being in a movie theater where you can feel the action. I linked it to my Google account so I can tell Google to play music, raise/lower the volume, and everything else you use a regular Google speaker for. The only con is that it doesn’t come with a stand. I currently have it leaning against my previous soundbar to stay upright. I wish I had been aware of this before purchasing. I will eventually be mounting this soundbar so that will not be as big of a deal. Overall, I would give this soundbar a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
