Google Smart Security Camera

I bought this Camera because I own the Ecobee IV Smart Thermostat With a smart room sensor and 8 individual room temp sensors and I am so impressed with the thermostat I purchased the camera to pair with it as soon as it came out! All of Ecobee’s products have the highest security rating per Consumer Reports so I don’t have to worry about a hacker hacking into my security system and breaking into my home taking my belongings!

Love this camera. I have alot of Google smart home items in my home. This camera was easy to set-up and integrated seamlessly with my google home products. Must have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eufy Security Smart Lock C210 came well packaged with easy to follow paper instructions. The installation was easy to do and the set up was a breeze with the Eufy app. Overall, the lock is good quality and has good security features, such as sharing access, access lockout after too many failed attempts, push notifications, and code scramble. The convenience of being able to access my home with the keypad, app, or physical key makes this lock extremely versatile and gives me peace of mind. Additionally, I like the ability to create different codes for visitors or family that may need access to my home, which can be removed when access is no longer needed. I can also share access via the Eufy app which is great as well. I am impressed with the Eufy Security Smart Lock C210, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to add security, convenience, and peace of mind to your home security practices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ecobee makes a wicked-good smart thermostat—one that doesn’t require an “optional” subscription to get the most benefit. The Ecobee SmartCamera has some really great features, too, but a security camera that can’t preserve forensic evidence of a crime—unless you’re willing to pay a monthly fee—just isn’t a good home security value. A security camera with a built-in siren is a great idea, too, but it won’t be very effective at deterring an intruder if it only operates when you push a button on your smartphone. Ecobee does get a thumbs-up for its privacy considerations: The Autopilot feature that turns the camera off when you’re home, and on when you leave, is an excellent feature. Integrating an Alexa-powered smart speaker was a good decision, too. But there are so many security cameras that are better than this one, even if they aren’t also smart speakers.

It is excellent camera that can be set as security or baby monitor one. Connected with smart Ecobee thermostat, it is even getting better as you have all in one app, everything that you need, add on top sensors and it makes complete security and home monitoring system. 100% recommend it.

Have had the door/window sensors with the Smart Camera with voice controls for a few weeks now and have been very surprised with the performance so far. We currently have a wired home security system we have been thinking of replacing, and think we will be going with the Ecobee Security. When one of the doors is opened the Ecobee sensors actually notify my phone a half second before the wired alert from our current system, very impressive. Also love these sensors have motion sensors built in, big plus and help. So far the only flaw we’ve seen is that the camera will go “offline” and cannot view live video, but it seems to still records when someone enters in front of the camera and the sensors performance has not been effected by this. Usually a quick unplug/restart of the camera fixes this, but would like to find out if this is a widespread issue or just my camera doing this. Overall very happy with these products and will be testing the security suite to see how well it performs, and also plan on upgrading our AC Thermostat with the Ecobee one as well.

I got this item on time, although I've not started using it in streaming movies extra, but have plugged it to my smart tv, before encountering Google account login issues yet to be resolved by Google. But the initial feel of the product can speak for itself, I can't wait to make good use of it. I read blogs relating to the quality of the Nvidia Shield Android TV Pro HDR Streaming performance. My kudos to those who introduced the item to the public.

I setup my smart home relying on Google Assistant. I understand that Sonos has this capability ready. In fact I trust that using Sonos with Google Assistant is already been as common by Sonos users around the world. However, with the limitation of Google Assistant availability in the region, Malaysia Sonos users are not able to embrace the IoT capability as part of the overall experience. I know it is impossible to ask Sonos to "do something" but it would be really great if Sonos will look into this issue and work with Google to push through the wish list for the users residing in Malaysia. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds are smart! The multipoint mode syncs up to two devices. I have them paired to my phone and my probook. I'm able to switch back and forth between the two seamlessly. I just pause playback on the first device, and resume playing audio on the second. The other smart feature I enjoy is the Google assistant. While wearing these earbuds, I can ask my question (hey Google), and they will relay the info straight through the speakers. These earbuds don't hurt my ears. The pliable eartips mold to the shape of my ear comfortably. The Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal does a nice job blocking outside noises. The sound quality is also quite good in my opinion. Transparency mode is easy to select, and is great at allowing everything going on around me to easily be heard without having to remove an earbud. The battery lasts a very long time, and they can be charged wirelessly or by using a C type cable. These ear buds are definitely the smartest earbuds I've owned. I highly recommend them!

I've had many smart and not so smart speakers connected to my TV in various ways. For context all of our TV watching is done via Apple TV. We've used Bluetooth speakers, original Google home speaker, homepod and even Sonos one. My favorite feature is that I no longer have to connect a speaker every time I want to watch TV. The HDMI ARC connection works great. My only gripe is that I'm still waiting for Google Assistant.
